“IL LEGNO DELLA CROCE (fine)”

“IL LEGNO DELLA CROCE(fine)” in roll is the variation on the theme of the book with the same title published in 2022 by VALENTINO BARACHINI.

This is a 4.5m long roll with a composition of photographs of the last year of the author's father's life.

Death and hope in this story alternate with the question, always present in Barachini's work, on the condition of man and his destiny.

Reading the photos, printed on the roll, is much more fluid and dynamic than the book, such as the ancient Chinese scrolls.

For this project texts written by Massimiliano Barachini, Valentino's brother, a drawing by Ruben and three musical pieces written by Claudio Laucci for the project itself were used.

The photos were printed with UV technology with a Fuji flatbed plotter.
