PATRIZIA CAVALLI CHE COSA E' MIO? by Lorenzo Castore
“A few days after her passing, in early summer 2022, I received an impassioned phone call from Francesca Marciano, a mutual friend who—knowing my obsession with documenting houses marked by intense lived experience—invited me to photograph Patrizia’s home. And so, during the sweltering days of mid-August, I entered her domestic universe and befriended her through the maze of rooms that, over the course of some fifty years, had seen that space shift from the everyday to the interior, and back again: books, records, lamps, furniture, utensils, and various memorabilia—companions to and witnesses of a life.”
